Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you my first guest blogger! My adorable dad took it upon himself to not only write this post about his *original* Nutella Stuffed Strawberry recipe, but to also provide original pictures.
Take it away dad!

It’s strawberry season. I got mine at Ralph’s for 88 cents a basket.
Nutella Stuffed Strawberries
1 lb strawberries
1 tub Nutella hazelnut spread
1 tub Nutella hazelnut spread
The trick is not making them because they are so easy. Core out some strawberries with a paring knife. If the center isn’t hollow, then core it out a little more. Pack the hollow core with Nutella. Done.
Now for the good stuff. It’s all in how you use them:
- as a garnish for French toast, waffles or pancakes.
- what could be better than a thick strawberry smoothie with a stuffed strawberry garnish?
- serve them individually in a shot glass.
- cut off the pointed end of each berry so they will stand up, and place a dozen berries on a plate.
- get some of those tiny little ketchup cups you find in fast food restauants.
HINT: do not bite them unless you want to be squirted with Nutella. You have to pop the whole berry in your mouth.
HINT 2: ask your readers to submit their own ideas.
ILY Dad

One thing that’s so great about Nutella Stuffed Strawberries is that they are very portable. Much more portable than chocolate covered strawberries. Also, they are so yummy!
So, dear readers, what do you think? Pretty good, huh?
By the way, that picture on the bottom right is a “properly stuffed strawberry,” according to my dad.

I love the original nutella stuffed strawberries! They are my all time favorite!
My favorite ways to have them, served along side nutella stuffed crepes, or served with a nice glass of port for dessert
Mmm, mmmm! Yum!
Great job Dad! I can’t wait for future posts from Dad
Don’t waste your time with chocolate covered strawberries, this is the way to go!
Wow – your dad rocks! I will definitely be trying this
Love these, however, if I make them ahead of time can they be put in frig?
@kitty: yes! but only for a few hours… keep them in an airtight container too. enjoy!
